Kimberly Higgins has studied Early Childhood Education for almost a decade -- she is an expert in the special needs field, works as an Educational Consultant, as well as runs a part time preschool program here in town.
She sits as Chair on the Family Action Network Board as well as writes a Parent Advice column for the community. Kimberly is the WinCentral Community Ambassador for the "Kids & Family." She has been published in such places as The Winchester Star, FAN Newsletter, and other local community newspapers. Morning Classes for 4-yr-olds
Hi, my name is Kimberly Higgins and I run The Preschool Social Academy. Although it feels like I opened yesterday, the preschool has been going strong for 3 years :) Come fall we plan to launch an afternoon Pre-K. Some families have requested information on morning programs to allow for added structure during the day. It is my own personal instinct, that drop off programs/classes have an added preference (add an infant sibling – things get complicated quickly), however either way it has become clear to me that the programs keep on with an educational approach to the day. I’m going to throw together a list or schedule of all morning classes in the area appropriate for the 4 year old age group.
