Winchester Economy Survey 2010 results published Yes I too get it. Downtown looks better with more businesses open. When a store closes or there is some other vacancy, is there a process that determines what business would work best in the environment of the other stores and gives the unique character of Winchester? tree lighting and other holiday events

Hello everyone!

I remember our discussion last year about the toy vendors at the tree lighting. I felt this year there were fewer, thankfully. Am I right?

Unfortunately there also seemed to be fewer visitors or was it just me? Anyway, it was another great treelighting in this beautiful town.

Can anyone recommend any other great holiday events in and around town for a your family?

Noise Ordinances? I was told some time ago that there is a state regulation, but that it lacks enforcement. Never had the time to look into it though. Its similar with engine idling rules. I believe that state or federal law restrict engine idling to five minutes. I don't think that one is really enforced either.
