Senior Sunday at the Griffin
The Griffin Museum invites seniors, free of charge, to their Senior Sunday programs, which offer an opportunity to hear photographers speak about their work. On March 14 at 3 p.m, James R. Holland, author and former contract photographer for National Geographic, will discuss his book “Adventure Photographer.” This is a memoir of a journey from the hills of the Ozark Mountains to the marble halls of the National Geographic’s Washington, D.C., headquarter and the world beyond. Mr. Holland says that his photography and experiences “are the stuff that dreams are made of.”
The program is free for seniors and their friends. It begins at 3 p.m. with socializing and refreshments in the Griffin Museum’s Main Gallery. It will end at 4:15p.m. The Senior Sunday program is supported in part by Salter Healthcare, New Horizons and Winning Farm.
